THANK YOU
I would like to thank you for the visible generosity of your gifts to our parish, in the Christmas Collection and in the Kenrick-Glennon Seminary Collection at our Christmas Masses. The Sunday collection of December 28th was also noteworthy of your personal giving and support of your parish.
Common courtesy would ask that I respond to gifts, fresh fruits, nuts, cards and prayers which our parishioners gave me thru the Christmas Holidays. Each gift was given with love and I graciously accepted your every gift with heartfelt thanks. I can not promise a personal card to you in the postal mails. Time allowing, I will try. Do know I am pleased that you gifted me.
The parish Christmas decorations will come down after Epiphany. Epiphany is the conclusion of the Christmas holidays. It is the “Twelfth Day of Christmas”. The Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord Jesus is on Sunday. January 11th. (At the time of his baptism, Our Lord is understood to be about 30 years of age.)
